Creative Courses in Music & the Arts… August 3 – 23
Dartington Summer Youth Programme is a summer festival of creative courses in music and the arts especially for young people. Week long courses in music, visual arts and creative technical subjects are led by experienced professional artists alongside young emerging arts leaders from the South West. Courses run from August 3 – 23, are at a range of levels and offer participants the opportunity to work closely with inspiring artists, make new friends, create and perform exciting new work and have oodles of fun!
 
What will I get from a Dartington Summer Youth Programme course?
DSYP will help you to develop new skills and explore your music, art or technical subject in an enthusiastic and friendly environment.
DSYP focuses on creative work, giving you the opportunity to work with inspirational and experienced tutors to create your own new pieces, and perform them in a range of venues including The Ariel Centre and at Dartington Hall.
DSYP employs tutors who are excellent artists, have lots of experience and are good fun people; giving you the chance to work closely with inspirational professional tutors whilst having good fun!
DSYP gives you the opportunity to create and share work with new friends who have the same interests as you.
DSYP provides opportunity to perform and/or record your new work
DSYP focuses on bringing music, visual arts and technical projects together giving you the opportunity to experiment with new ideas and new artforms.
